Describe the Bug I have a library consisting of MP4 files, including some lectures from my university. Streamyfin can see the directories (incl. thumbnails) but not the files. In Jellyfin, everything works fine.

To Reproduce I'm not sure how to describe the reproduction steps.

Additional Information I am willing to help identify the problem if someone can provide me with guidance on how I can assist.

Please tell me the type of the library and how your files are structured on disk. Please include screenshots if you can!

Thank you for your quick response!

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "type of library." Are you referring to the type of files or the structure of the folders?

In my directory, I only have MP4 files organized in folders. Here’s an example of the contents of one of my directories:

root@2ec98b7da6d3:/data/uni/mmmus# ls
'Lagrange, DAEs and Physical Modelling_full.mp4' 'PDE Part 1.mp4' 'PDE Part 2.mp4'

In my /data/uni/ directory, I have more folders with the same file types. In some folders, I also have SRT files.

The library must have a type. Ex. Movies TV-Shows, home movies etc.

fugohan commented 1 week ago

The type is home movies and photos.

I have a similar problem. Thanks fugochan for the bug report.

My "Home movies and Photos" library only shows up as the folders, can't click any further to access any files. Directories are something like ".../Videos/Movies/Samples" where Videos is the scan point and Movies is the furthest I can enter with Streamyfin.
