At present the AndroidPlatform is missing a lot of functionality and is quite 
buggy.

More notes and discussion on android platform.  E.g. I tried loading the 
peas-android on the Samsung 10.1 Galaxy Tab and it installs, but goes straight 
to black screen and nothing happens. Galaxy tab running 3.0.1

Maybe some discussion on how to debug this? Or is it operator error?

It's almost certainly not an operator error :)

I believe Joel is still tackling bending the Android platform into shape.

For those that would like to learn more about the problem and suggestions on
how to
go about to fix it, could you share any advice for those aspiring to help

The Android code's a total mess right now, but I'm endeavoring to fix it this 
weekend. Once I get it basically working, I suspect I'll be creating a lot of 
little issues for things that still aren't quite right. Those will be good 
targets if you'd like to contribute.

Outside of the Android platform, there are a lot of small-to-medium-sized 
issues that need to be dealt with as well. I'd encourage you to take a look at 
those as well.
