What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Verify that you are on the idle screen of the Home Screen and the browser is
not open.
2. Make sure it is set to launch links automatically without prompting.
3. Send the phone a URL from an app repository like Android Zoom.

i.e http://www.androidzoom.com/android_games/casual/gem-miner_md_download.html

4. When the webpage is redirected to the market go back to the market and check
the new window that was open.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

A new window should not be created for a redirect to the Android Market.

What version of the android, in Settings -> About phone -> Build number (
ex. FRFxx ) ? If less than FRF50 - see the FAQ.
