Chrome to Phone extension not staying logged in? #249

I use chrome to phone rarely, as I'm sure a lot of people do. Given that, it
would be nice if the extension could stay logged in so that I don't have to
enter my google password every time. Any chance of this?

There is a possibility that there is something wrong with my cache or password
logging settings, but I know I am signed into my other Google accounts most of
the time and also in my browser's settings itself. Why should Chrome To Phone
operate this way in the first place? Why passwords?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Not using Google Chrome To Phone for extended periods of time.
2. Interrupted internet connection
3. When it wants to?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Chrome to phone waits for a second, opens a new tab where I am asked to enter
my Google password, despite my user name already being inputted.

Motorola Droid X Android 2.2 Froyo Rooted, Stock Android build.

Using a normal wireless G connection on a home consumer network. TP-Link
router. This problem occurs on all networks however.

Can you open "Gmail" application ? Do you see new messages without hitting
'refresh' ? Yes

Can you open "Talk" application ? Do you see incoming chats ?
Using Trillian so N/A

This problem mostly occurs on my Windows 7 Starter netbook, Chrome v7.0.517.44

Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit + Motorola DROID running LFY 1.90 (Froyo based ROM) -
obviously rooted as well.

Same here - every time I go to send a link I have to enter my password - I
prefer the slightly older method where once I was logged in to my Google
account I could send anything anytime.

My browser is always logged into my Google account (with Cookies set to always
accept from anything Google related) so I am guessing this is a functionality
change in C2P?

Issue has been fixed with new C2P market release.

Thanks!

I have Chrome Extension version 2.1.3 and C2P Android version 2.2.0 and have
the OP exact problem. Don't use it often, but love it when I do. . .except I
regularly have to punch in my password.

I have the 2.1.3 extension and running the current Android version and I have
to keep entering my password between uses.

Thanks,
Tony
