clap Inline Display #413

could clap plug in have something like Inline Display https://community.ardour.org/files/doxygen/group__lv2inlinedisplay.html

I guess there are two questions here

  1. could daw manufacturers make custom extensions to do something like this? Sure! Reaper does it already and has a mechanism for a clap to reach their extensions
  2. should we have a built in cross daw standard for this in clap? That’s harder but if a couple of daw and plugin manufacturers agree we have a well trodden path to add and promote and review extensions
