Propose: NO Twitter and NO Facebook.

Perhaps we can use Mastodon instead?

For internal communications, propose Mattermost.

  1. I know twitter stings but it is required in my opinion
  2. Facebook is dead already
  3. Instagram is emerging and important for academia
  4. communication through whatsapp is what actually works and requires no set up time.

OK, we can use Twitter and Instagram. Both will require a unique strategy though. Happy to ignore Facebook. WhatsApp works for the core team perhaps? We would need something like Slack for the wider community I feel. And yeah, YouTube live could work nicely. We can repurpose the tech we already have too.
