Was just considering this, actually. I'm thinking of starting with github3.py, mostly because the documentation looks the most extensive.

GitHub cog now uses aiohttp to perform non-blocking calls to GitHub API v3 as of 8c4bb947e55caaa9bb33a5d07844ac82aaaf16bf
