Since u-boot 2017.09 the BIN file is named u-boot.bin. Currently it will fail, asking to install u-boot-rpi, albeit it's already installed.

line 78 also contains a hardcoded version of this variable

Good catch, the thing is that my build fails before that, so I did not have a chance to hit this.
