Fix https://github.com/freedomjs/freedom/issues/304 and unblock cutting a new release.

Tests are now running and mostly passing, with the exceptions of transport (which were x'd out to begin with), social (which are depending on a not-currently-running server), and Travis flakiness due to Saucelabs.
