Bug

Description

Clicking through https://securedrop.org/directory, the following connections hang/time out or say "unable to connect." They all have live landing pages that mention SecureDrop though. Not sure if this is because they are upgrading to the latest SecureDrop version, but wanted to file just in case.

Thank you for your report. Yes, some of those instances are experiencing 0.6 update woes right now. Since this should not last very long, we're not going to update the directory, but I'll leave this issue open until this is resolved so other folks know what's going on.

Generally, any instance experiencing kernel troubles as part of the 0.6 rollout should be able to follow the troubleshooting procedures, here: https://docs.securedrop.org/en/stable/upgrade/0.5.x_to_0.6.html#troubleshooting-linux-kernel-issues

But we (Freedom of the Press Foundation) are also working individually with impacted instances.
