Adding more world news sites, thereby reducing Americentric focus #308

As a Canadian, it would be nice to see more Canadian sites among the STN listing. Admittedly, it is nice to see CBC.ca, The Globe & Mail and The (Toronto) Star included in the listing, but more Canadian sites would be preferable.

Apart from Canadian sites, though, how about major news sites from around the world? There are presently only 17 news sites for Asia, despite a large population on such a continent.

I came across a listing of some of the biggest newspapers by circulation in the world via Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_newspapers_by_circulation

I have noticed that some websites, which are related to some of the newspapers with the highest circulations in the world, have not been included. As someone who has spent three years in Japan, I was kind of bummed to note that the websites affiliated with some major Japanese papers -- papers that have some of the largest circulation numbers in the world -- are not in the STN listing.

Some of the biggest publications listed in the Wikipedia page include:

Yomiuri Shimbun https://www.yomiuri.co.jp/
This site ranks: #2,697 in global internet engagement (https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/yomiuri.co.jp)

Asahi Shimbun https://www.asahi.com/ This site ranks: #1,183 in global internet engagement (https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/asahi.com)

Dainik Bhaskar https://www.bhaskar.com/ This site ranks: #1,405 in global internet engagement (https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/bhaskar.com)

Dainik Jagran https://www.jagran.com/ This site ranks: #1,847 in global internet engagement (https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/jagran.com)

The Mainichi Newspapers https://www.mainichi.co.jp/ (domain specified on Wikipedia page for Mainichi) This site ranks: #390,002 in global internet engagement (https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/mainichi.co.jp)

However, I did a quick search, and found that the reason why the website seemed to get so little engagement is that if there is no '.co.jp' but rather just 'jp', the site gets much more attention.

Mainichi mainichi.jp This site ranks: #3,034 in global internet engagement (https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/mainichi.jp)

Amar Ujala https://www.amarujala.com/ This site ranks: #2,845 in global internet engagement (https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/amarujala.com)

The Nikkei https://www.nikkei.com/ This site ranks: #598 in global internet engagement (https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/nikkei.com)

Chunichi Shimbun https://www.chunichi.co.jp/ This site ranks: #12,575 in global internet engagement (https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/chunichi.co.jp)

Apart from the papers above, though, I think that Japan's public broadcaster, NHK, deserves to be noted:

NHK https://www.nhk.or.jp/ This site ranks: #696 in global internet engagement (https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/nhk.or.jp)

And while not listed among the top newspapers in Japan, one other possible inclusion is:

Japan Times https://www.japantimes.co.jp This site ranks: #5,280 in global internet engagement (https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/japantimes.co.jp)

As per top TV-based networks in Canada, apart from CBC, which is already listed in STN, there's CTV and Global. All have local affiliates throughout much of Canada. Each has their respective news team and corresponding news website.

First off, CBC, which is already included under cbc.ca:

CBC cbc.ca This site ranks: #1,188 in global internet engagement (https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/cbc.ca)

CTV News ctvnews.ca This site ranks: #2,306 in global internet engagement (https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/ctvnews.ca)

Global News globalnews.ca This site ranks: #3,143 in global internet engagement (https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/globalnews.ca)

Would it be possible to add some of these news sites to the STN listing?
