Merge branch imprecise #26

This will remove all support for Ubuntu versions other than 14.04 LTS and remove all bashisms. It also reverts install.txt to 42fd0a349364dc5555cca152aa45bb7813a84688 and installs nyancat from utopic (14.04) instead of trusty (14.10).

P.S. This branch is called imprecise because it is not compatible with precise, hence "not precise".

Good to see this update. Like the aptitude changes, we should test this on a few systems. Maybe I was a bit hasty in axing 12.04 completely. We should consider keeping compatibility to currently supported LTS versions of OS's that we have used.
