I tried commenting out the broadcom firmware stuff, but that doesn't prevent the issue.
When I commented out the "Fix Chromium Keyring Bug" stuff, running the script didn't break wireless networking on a laptop.
The Chromium Keyring fix broke network manager, so I removed it. Chromium may have problems again, but it's better than not having Wifi.
Running the script on (mostly Dell) laptops with Linux Mint 18.3 / 19.1 causes problems with wireless networking. The laptops can see networks, but cannot connect to them, or can only connect to networks that were set up before running the install script. There is a work-around where users can go into "Edit Networks" and manually enter information for a network (password, etc). When the effects of the script were rolled back, using Timeshift, wireless networking functioned as normal.
