Reply command lag #30

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Receive a sms through GTalk
2.Send a reply with the reply command
3.Wait... wait... wait... 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

With the method sms:name:text, the message is sent without delay.
But with the reply:text command, it takes a while. More than 5' to send the 
message. And sometimes the "Message" app on android is FTC.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
GTalk SMS 1.6.1 (same problem with 1.5)
HTC Desire HD with Froyo 2.2.1
