kext fails to load

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Installed MacFuse 10.4-1.5.0, rebooted.

[host:~] me% sudo kextload -t 
/System/Library/Filesystems/fusefs.fs/Support/fusefs.kext

Strange, I did a search for "load failure" (without the quotes) and it came up 
empty. :(

I really could've used that info yesterday!
