Allow for users to set search defaults #28

This is similar to freelawproject/courtlistener#692, but a little broader. It would be great if users can toggle search defaults that are saved for their account. For instance, they could filter out bankruptcy cases, or only have cases relating to a specific cause of action, or involving a specific party.

I use the website frequently but am never looking for a bankruptcy case. So this is somewhat out of personal preference but I'm sure others would use it as well.

That's a great idea and it's worth doing some interaction design to get it right, but I could see people having a series of default filters that they apply via the search front end to either include or exclude certain kinds of results.

I don't see us doing this any time soon, unless we get some good design work here, but I'll be sure it gets into our next design overhaul.

I don't have much experience with front end design but I'm happy to sketch out a potential solution if there's interest.

I think I'm open to ideas and sketches, but I anticipate a few iterations of designs before we land on something we like? If you're up for the challenge, your help is welcome, but I expect it to be tricky to get right!
