What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. run log2timeline-sift on a Win 7 image
I noticed there's a problem with the way the output file handle is
opened where it causes warnings to be printed regarding line 400 due to
improper handling of Unicode. I noticed this running the script on a
Win 7 style image (actually Win 2008 Server)
The fix
my $ofile = $store_point . '/' . $file_name . '_bodyfile.txt';
open( TF, ">:utf8", $ofile) or die( 'Unable to create the bodyfile ' .
$store_point . '/' . $file_name . '_bodyfile.txt, not enough access rights?');
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
The latest SIFT Workstation
