I am trying to crack wifi password but something went wrong every time. #684

I am trying to crack wifi password with help of reaver but something went wrong 
every time. I am using ubuntu and tried various techniques but all in vain and 
every time I am getting the same error wgich is mentioned below:

your to close to the AP or to far away, also could be that the admin has put 
mac address filtering. if that's the case just chnage your mac address to one 
of the device connected the network.
