Can you explain why the software "iocage-plugin-nextcloud" has got a a limit to 100 users? As with alternative Nextcloud installations, there will be installations with more than 100 users that do not require commercial Nextcloud support. Is this part of Nextcloud not AGPL? Is Nextcloud with this additonal component not AGPL? What is the license of freenas/iocage-plugin-nextcloud?

This appliance is developed and maintained by Nextcloud GmbH and meant for private, or small business use. This is why the appliance is limited to 100 users. With more users comes a more critical role in organizations, for which we recommend Nextcloud Enterprise. The appliance can be upgraded to Nextcloud Enterprise. Contact Nextcloud for more information.

Yes it may be recommend. But i think the admins of freenas know what they are doing when they use nextcloud for 100 or more users. Please include only a warning, remove the restriction or add the licsense. Thanks.

This plugin is maintained by the NextCloud team. Louis from the NextCloud Team is the one who put the limit in place. If you have questions, he'll be the best one to answer as to why it was put in place. https://github.com/freenas/iocage-plugin-nextcloud/commit/5ea5db2530122bff24eb9b1f2a92ba27e3cd0c19 https://github.com/freenas/iocage-plugin-nextcloud/commit/28afbc2d1bd51d4a6125c67994fdf1cd160f0b23
