Localizating FreeOTP for iOS in Corsican #319

Hello,

I've just translated FreeOTP for Android in Corsican and I'm volunteer to do the same with FreeOTP for iOS.

Please can you tell me if localization is possible for iOS? If yes, what are the instructions?

Hi,

Do you have the ability to install Xcode ? The steps here https://developer.apple.com/documentation/xcode/localizing-and-varying-text-with-a-string-catalog can be used to get started with localization. I am not aware of any previous effort to support localization in FreeOTP iOS, I suspect there may need to be code changes (UI text, string, etc) to support localization first.

Thanks for your answer. But I realize that my question was probably ambigous!

I should have written "Please can you tell me if localization is already implemented in FreeOTP for iOS? If yes, what are the instructions to add a new translation?

If FreeOTP for iOS isn't ready for localization so far, I will wait... as I'm 'just' ;-) a translator!

When FreeOTP for iOS will be ready to accept localization, I will be happy to contribute as Corsican translator!
