Missing export of seeds is gating for a reasonable usage of FreeOTP #361

While using this app, e.g. on iOS it does what it's supposed to do and work seamlessly. However, the problems start if you want to switch the device or if you just want to backup your seeds e.g. in a second TOTP app. There's no way of exporting or backing up the seeds.

If anyone is still working on this project, please kindly update FreeOTP in a way, that one can easily export the TOTP seeds.

Thank in advance

Just stated to use this app, I noticed the same. I like not being tracked in any way, but I also need to handle device loss. As this is on iOS, I assume it would be possible to back settings up to iCloud (also enabling synchronization to my iPad so I have a backup device). In any case, an export option would be necessary as well so I can switch to another app if needed.

How can we support you in doing this (I am a developer, but not an iOS one)?

I'd like to add to this, I want to move away from Authy real soon now but my next TOTP app needs to have an export function. Even backing up to iCloud wouldn't help me as I switch between Apple and Android a lot. (Which is what made Authy so attractive for me) Speaking of Android, they have a fork named FreeOTP+ which claims to offer seed export. Maybe a programmer could take some code from there?

Same for me. I would really appreciate to export my TOTP codes. It would take a huge effort to get all the codes new, but unfortunately I'll have to do this unless there will be an export function :/
