Cheat Menu doesn't work #129

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
I'm on WiiFlow R31, cIOS38 rev19, wii 4.2E

- When I go throw Cheat Menu, wiiflow said that it cannot find any codes,
so I click on download and NOTHING append (no error, no change on screen).

- If I try do download some covers, everything goes fine; If after that I
return to Cheat Menu and click on download something append but it said me
that it cannot download codes (but I have an url print on screen)

- I have 2 codes in the folder "SD:/codes/*.gct" that I have downloaded
manually and works fine on games.

PS: others detail... with R31, if I click on the "?" to see credits, it
shown R28 evenif I'm using R31

Thanks

I was on the same situation until I created a folder called "txtcodes" then the
txt
codes was save there and thats all
I mean make that folder on the root of your SD card (SD:/txtcodes)...

Thank you naxox2515, I've created SD:/txtcodes/ and now I'm able to download
cheats.

BUT!! :( Evenif I've the list of cheats, and evenif I activated someones, the
cheats
seems to don't be activate on games :( (Ocarina is ON). Do I have to do
something
else to active cheats?

After download some codes i have some *.txt files on SD:/txtcodes (no *.gct)

I've found the problem!! ;)

I have to have a folder SD:/txtcodes/ AND also SD:/codes/ !!! now it's ok ;-)

So the problem is that wiiflow doesn't create theses folders if don't exist!
and no
explanation on the problem.
One other bug still anyway, if you have activate some codes for a game and
after that
you want to disable ALL of them it's impossible to APPLY changes! you have to
leave
at least one code ON. or disable ocarina for this games.

Tahnks

That's right, wiiflow doesn't create these folders like other loaders, and the
other
thing is when you turn it on some cheats codes that codes gonna keep ON
although you
turn it OFF... But when I turn it off and then save the changes the codes are
right, i
mean if you have the "Moon Jump (ON)" and then switch it OFF the Moon Jump gets
disabled... but if you see the codes again the Moon Jump it's activated just
don't
save and get back to the previous menu and launch the game and the Moon Jump
it's
disabled <--- I did that with Metroid Prime Corruption

I can download cheats, but the cheats aren't applying to the games in version
4.02 (The latest one) Why?

Thanks

Problem still persists. Codes do not take effect on any games. Games tried -
twilight princess and mario galaxy 2.
