Wrong amount of remaining blocks #71

I removed wallet and run Freicoin with -gen option. History was downloaded quickly, but after I got this:

5 active connections
Downloaded: 3827 blocks. Last - 6 minutes ago
~136873 blocks remaining

And same bug, reproduced after other remove & lauch:

On the forum I think you said that once you closed and restarted it worked fine, but here it looks like the problem happened again. So you able to reproduce it?

Can you send me your debug.log file?

I left it running for ~1 hour yesterday and saw this again. debug.log sent by email

And again! I even not removed wallet :)

I believe this is now fixed. If you close and reopen the client, it should reset and not happen again.

Let me know if you're still able to reproduce it.

EDIT: Removed description of the problem. This could be a DOS vulnerability that would affect bitcoin as well; better not to post these things on the public Internet. I've fixed this symptom of the problem that we're experiencing, and forwarded a description of the underlying issue to Gavin.
