Allow roaming during the first 4.5s after connecting to the network

This is a series of minor fixes and patches and a fix for one bigger issue:

• When connecting to a network and roaming away during the first 4.5 seconds, the client is assigned to multiple nodes at once, breaking routing to this client.
• debug output prettificatin
• some minor refactorings
• whitespace
