Import from lemoer - GLUON-Branch #1

In future, we should build our beta versions with GLUON_BRANCH=stable since this variable is only relevant during the initial flash process and does not override the actual saved value in uci while upgrading. So we only have to build the firmware once during our release process and use the same binary for stable and beta.
