Could you publish it to CentOS 8 EPEL repository ?

Could, probably. But I believe nobody in this project knows how to do it. I would be open to somebody taking over that responsibility.

FWIW, freight is in both EPEL8 and EPEL9 now https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/freight
