console in IE8 #36

Lines 589 and 590 cause errors in IE8 due to use of console.log

Also in IE9. Issue not obvious when using developer tools, as console doesn't throw an error with developer tools on.

What an ass I am! Just removed the offending code. Thanks for the warning!
