Calendar is truncated when resized to smaller sizes

If the calendar is blocked, it affects all readers equally when they try to read off the calendar. As this would inconvenience many users, there should have been a stronger restriction on the minimum size of the window.

Given this is meant to be a desktop application, the available screen space should be larger than shown in the image and therefore, there should be no reason for the GUI to be minimised to the size shown in the image apart from extreme user behaviour. Furthermore, the calendar is not truncated as it is still possible to use the scroll bar below to view events despite the limited area of the calendar shown.
