Try updating FredBoat. I have just merged some changes into the dev branch.

Allow the build 7-15 minutes to finish.

I'm using publicly hosted FredBoat. I can't test until it release.

I and a840817a just tried hosting a fredboat bot by ourselves, but still got error while playing SoundCloud's music. Here is the log, it seems there are some troubles in Lavaplayer?
