I am migrating a few projects from VS 2019 to VS 2022. Is there an update for this project for VS 2022?

Sadly no, the maintainer hasn't been seen for years. You can find the best fork here: https://github.com/AdaskoTheBeAsT/Typewriter/ it receives regular updates.
