The datasets I plan to monitor using the data quality dashboard are coming from different platforms but mainly from data.gouv.fr, the national open data platform (see API ) or are based on Open DataSoft software.

Eg:

Data.gouv.fr

International Development Aid in Burma

International Development Aid - Local authorities expenses

OpenDataSoft

Independant Adminsitrations

Authority for Transparency in Public Life

Heritage and Interest declarations of public officials

Court of Auditing

State Executed Budget 2014

what do you want to monitor, exactly? data quality, publication timeliness, something else?

Both. I basically have to answer the following questions:

What is the status of completion for this specific commitment? Easy to verify if yes or no the data has been published so it's considered completed.
Is the commitment on schedule? --> Timeliness
Has the dataset been published according to quality standards? --> Quality

Quality criteria

I understand there’s a built-in JSON Table Schema to check the quality as well as the timeliness. That’s sufficient for me at the moment. I have checked with the government but so far, they haven't point me to any required specific data quality policy. So GoodTables sounds good to start with.

Hey @cecilaki, I know it has been a while since you opened up this issue in Feb — did you get somewhere with your research?

Let me know if I can be of any help in regard of data.gouv.fr. I am mostly involved in user experience and reducing the frictions between the users and the data.
