Recommended Node/NPM installation method? #18

Any suggestions about which of the many ways to install Node & NPM? For example, using the Node/NPM packages in Debian or Ubuntu repos, using a PPA, or compiling from source. Similarly, are there any special considerations when installing DPM or is "npm install dpm" ok?

Oops I was installing "dpm" instead of "datapackage" so the node/npm installation was not the issue.

@mchelen I agree that isn't super-clear (unfortunately dpm was already taken). I've noted this super-clearly in updated README (just pushed)
