When Spam Scores enabled unable to scroll Junk folder when message is selected #53

Describe the bug If you select a message in the message list in the Junk folder, you cannot scroll the list whereby the selected message is outside of the viewport.

Reproduction steps

Expected behavior Normal behavior is that selected message scrolls outside of the viewport and a "shadow" cursor follows the mouse. This is what happens when the plugin is disabled.

Screenshots A screenshot wouldn't be helpful, the problem is only demonstrable interactively.

Spam Score add-on (please complete the following information):

Additional context Plugin works fine otherwise, the only issue I notice is the scrolling issue. Problem abates when disabling the plugin.

Same here. Also CPU spikes to constant 100% while rubberbanding.

On TB 91.x downgrade to v1.4.0 solves the issue for the moment. Removing the bugfix from 1.4.1 in a custom XPI for 102.x also works.

Removing the bugfix from 1.4.1 in a custom XPI for 102.x also works.

Hello @de-es - can you possibly send me (somehow?) this custom XPI so I can run tests on Thunderbird v102.x?

I'm experiencing similar (maybe?) symptoms described in this issue, but in a (somewhat?) different usage scenario/context. Specifically: when I sort on the Spam Score column in any folder, things get wonky (and I'm unable to scroll the msg-list window in the folder well, etc).

Sure. Just rename the file extension from .zip to .xpi and you should be able to install it. spamscores-czaenker.zip

Thank you @de-es -- the install of the above file worked. Initial testing shows no problematic syptoms (that I reported earlier) while running Thunderbird v102.5.0 (on macOS v12.6.1 build 21G217).

Thanks again!

@friedPotat0 -

It seems clear that Spam-Scores v1.4.1 may have introduced a problem (even though it may have fixed another problem(s)). Could you possibly mark this as an opportunity for a future fix?

In any case, if you need more info to help solve/fix/process, pls let me know and I can work to provide more context.

Thanks for making such a great Thunderbird Add-On/Extension!
