x11 support? #160

The README seems to imply that only wayland is supported, but centerpiece seems to mostly run fine on x11 if it can find x11 libs at runtime (see https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/pull/322553)

Any plans for official x11 support?

Currently there is no plan to "officially" support X11. The reason simply is that all active maintainers are on Wayland. But if you want to add a PR that adds the compatibility for X11 and keep an eye on X11 compatibility in the future that would be very welcome and add the required "official support" :heart:!
