A useful addition to plot.twoway() is a which="boxplot" option that would show residuals from the additive model, classified by row, or col factors. The file testing/plot.twoway.boxplot.R is a first pass at this. (I'm using testing/ instead of another branch.)

Bugs in testing/plot.twoway.boxplot.R were fixed in a recent commit. Status remains open, pending assessment by @rmheiberger
