[Edit:]
I could make it work by directly connecting it to my computer, and not through my other openwrt router.
After setting the R2S Plus to dhcp client, I can http and ssh when connected to my openwrt router.
My guess is that the forced dhcp service on this image would conflict with my already existing dhcp service on my network.
I would recommend a change in the factory settings : set the ip static (already the case) but disable the dhcp server.
I can ping the device on the WAN port (random ip adress given by my router and hostname detected) but it would not let me (connection refused) ssh it or accessing the GUI (http)
I can see the 192.168.2.1 ip adress of LAN port in my router ARP table, but cannot even ping the device.
I also noticed that image names are newer than the one from the md5sum.txt (so I could not check the hash either).
I am running now rk3328-sd-debian-bookworm-core-6.1-arm64-20231213.img.gz with no issue.
I checked cpu stress/temp and eMMC speed/badblocks and my hardware seems allright.
So, I come to the conclusion that the friendlywrt-23.05-20231223 images were "properly" installed, but http, ssh (and maybe LAN port) are bugged.

[Original post] The image : rk3328-sd-friendlywrt-23.05-20231223.img.gz is not working on R2S Plus. Same problem with the eflasher version (I could login to eflasher OS before rebooting). Image repo : https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1lDrZQSEzjaMSI3H6oIcucQJNhxEgDOc-
I followed the guide, eventually :
