Limited speed on NanoPi R2S with PPPoE (FriendlyWRT) #77

I am experiencing an issue using the NanoPi R2S with FriendlyWRT. My internet connection is 1 Gbps download and 500 Mbps upload, but I am unable to reach the maximum speeds when using PPPoE. Full speeds are only achieved when using DHCP Client.

Here are my current settings:

Packet Steering: Enabled Fullcone NAT: Enabled Even with these settings, the speed with PPPoE remains well below expectations. Below is the current speed test result: image

If there's a way to improve performance and get closer to 900 Mbps, I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or solutions.

I'm stay with the same problem.

My link is 700 mbps, but with using Nanopi R2s Plus (FriendlyWRT) down to 190/200 mbps

Did you find a solution?

you could try enabling offload, reducing the number of plugins, and enhancing cooling to prevent CPU throttling. from personal experience, i recommend upgrading to the RK3399 or RK3588S.

I updated the plugins, and change the server in test. It's much better
