TZ

With the TZ of the China camera version,

If I use as suggested,

• http://svn.fonosfera.org/fon-ng/trunk/luci/modules/admin-fon/root/etc/timezones.db I was unable to flash or boot (sorry, can't recall LED status)

When changed to the appropriate TZ in (as suggested earlier by xyannis),

• http://www.remotemonitoringsystems.ca/time-zone-abbreviations.php

I was able to flash and boot.

However, the TZ would not take and I have to

• echo "GMT+11" > /etc/TZ

It's now going right...haven't heard any voice announcements as yet and TZ will screw up once daylight savings is over.

Update 1: TZ did not stick because after flashing /etc/TZ was 0 byte (empty file). I've echoed

• echo "EST-11EDT-10,M10.5.0/02:00:00,M3.5.0/03:00:00" > /etc/TZ

This was modified from http://www.remotemonitoringsystems.ca/time-zone-abbreviations.php

• "...EST-10EDT-11..."

Which from the website appears to reverse the one hour daylight savings.
