What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Place a normal resistor into PCB view
Rotate it by 90°
Switch it to an SMD footprint What is the expected output? What do you see instead? It's shifting quite a bit to the left. This can be quite annoying when you're in a complex circuit, because it might slip under another part and everything becomes messy.
This is not happening when the part wasn't rotated.
