or at least remove all "internal" transform elements and create a element around the parent

since part of the problem seems to be that sometimes qt recognizes the internal transform, and sometimes it doesn't, is there a way to test whether the internal transform is included?

internal transforms are now dealt with. it may not be necessary to flatten everything.

Issue 2210 has been merged into this issue.

Is this relevant? The status is partly done... I think the tutorial recommend to flatten all the grpups in Svg, so maybe still relevant

KjellMorgenstern commented 3 years ago

Would be nice to have a deliberately unflattened svg to check.
