Andre, could you organize this please. We need a list of generic ICs. Many of the footprints already exist in Fritzing, so I can simply make generic versions of existing parts. The rest of the task is to identify packages that don't exist in Fritzing and assign them to Fabian.

I don't think. Well, the parts editor could of course support this, so that 'creating' a part would be just labeling the tqfp44

Maybe a bit special, but well... For all parts that have connectors in the mil grid, I would like to have a generic part similar to the Generic IC, which...
a) allows to remove pins
b) prints the pin names to the silk screen http://fritzing.org/forum/thread/528/?page=all#post4435
