The link at the very bottom of http://fritzing.org/fritzings-graphic-standards/ is broken. It is named "template download page" and links to http://fritzing.org/download-fonts-and-templates/ instead of http://fritzing.org/fritzings-graphic-standards/download-fonts-and-templates .

The link is indeed broken.

Also note: the standards are definitely out of date for schematic view, and the other views should be checked. Furthermore, the font files (once you actually get to the right page) do not match the ones we actually use in the Fritzing application.

Link is fixed now.

Also, the download zip already has the new schematic style (with 0.1" grid). I think the font files were also updated. (see history of changes at the bottom)

I've opened the template zip, but in Inkscape the 0.1" reference square appears as a 0.087" square instead? Maybe the zip is still wrong or Inkscape isn't reading it properly.

Seems it's an Inkscape problem, the ref square lines up fine with the 0.1" grid. I made a part with the schematic from the zip, and it seems absolutely tiny in comparison to the previous schematic parts.

(Sorry for the delay, holidays got inbetween.) It's not a problem, actually. The new style is indeed tiny compared to the old one, but that's the plan. We will phase out the old big ones, because they are actually too big and don't fit any grid, really. The new, small schematic style will come with the next one or two releases.

Ah that's good to know, thanks. Perhaps it'd be good to update the custom part page to indicate that?
