Our "about Fritzing" text, which appears in almost all sources of info
about Fritzing needs an update to include non-arduino prototypes. There's
also a bit of redundancy mentioning "designers and artists" in the first
sentence and "designer / artist / researcher / hobbyist" in the 2nd.
Here's the original text:
"Fritzing is an open-source initiative to support designers and artists to
take the step from physical prototyping to actual product. We are creating
this software in the spirit of Processing and Arduino, that allows the
designer / artist / researcher / hobbyist to document their Arduino-based
prototype and create a PCB layout for manufacturing. "
How does this sound as an update?
"Fritzing is an open-source initiative to support designers, artists,
researchers and hobbyists to take the step from physical prototyping to
actual product. We are creating this software in the spirit of Processing
and Arduino, developing a tool that allows users to document their Arduino
and other electronic-based prototypes, and to create a PCB layout for
manufacturing. "
