Are the variants normalized? #188

Hi, I was wondering if the simulated variants* are normalized according to the definition of bcftools, i.e. are they left-aligned and comply to the maximum parsimony notation?

*I particularly use SURVIVOR for SNVs/indels

For future reference: no.

As of 19/05/2023 (latest commit ed1ca51) some indels are getting normalized by bcftools.
