@immolo, @JustDoom, noticed that the gentoo-ps2-liveusb-alpha1.tar.xz archive linked from Gentoo live USB for the PlayStation 2 is unavailable. Would it be possible to update?

@faissaloo, is the 9Zbm8Tdz4DvLXUGB.7Z archive linked from Creating a bootable DVD for PlayStation 2 Linux missing too?

@JustDoom, meanwhile, if you’d like to try out a simpler Linux with Busy Box, there are vmlinuz downloads precompiled by Git Hub available as described on installing and booting PlayStation 2 Linux.

Having some technical difficulties my end and lost the backup during it. I have a new CPU turning up over the weekend so this should be quickly fixed.

I have an updated copy of the ISO that uses BlackRhino Large and that does away with wLaunchELF and USB boot, but I don't have a place to upload it to

@faissaloo You can try to upload it to mediafire or mega, I might be able to host the file on my website instead if you want

@frno7 When I try to download the GitHub Actions vmlinuz, GitHub states that it's "expired" and that the object is no longer available for download.

Thank you for pointing that out -- Though I would like to note that there is only the PAL versions, and the NTSC versions are missing from the release from my view, meaning that unfortunately the release is basically useless to me, unless I am to compile my own version.

Oh. Hmm, I’m unable to find any button or suchlike to rebuild it. I suppose it’ll rebuild when updating the branch though.

Nice. :-)

If your TV set isn’t older than 30 years or so, I guess it’ll happily display PAL too. :-)

@immolo @frno7 i have good news regarding a live image, while i'm still struggling to make an image on my own i managed to find that the original alpha file was submitted into internet archive https://archive.org/details/gentoo-ps2-liveusb-alpha1, i will look into this working live image to make an updated one (alpha 2).
