Clean up historical branches #38

There are a lot of historical PS2 branches in this repository, that are no longer used for active development, for example 2.x, 3.x and 4.x versions. Some branches would likely be better off as tags, one for each kernel release version. Some branches have historical significance, for example ps2-v2.2.1, the earliest one, but most branches could probably be removed as they are development snapshots with some halfbroken driver or other nonbooting problem at the time. Some significant 3.x branches have drivers and features not yet ported over to recent 5.x versions.

This issue is a notice that a branch clean-up is forthcoming.

Clean-up has been completed. There are now fewer branches, and 44 historical tags. Github claims there are 46 tags, but it’s buggy: v2.6.11 and v2.6.11-tree don’t exist.
