Angular - Cannot read property getBoundingClientRect of null when navigating away from a page with an active codox editor #3782

When an active codox/wave enabled editor is open, navigating away from the page produces the following error:

Steps to reproduce

  1. Configure a new froala editor with codox enabled.
  2. Go to that page and focus on the textarea.
  3. Navigate to a different page on the same site. Angular will destroy the original component, and when you land on the second page the error will be presented.
