Runtime error in _handleCopy #4016

We're seeing reports of runtime errors when running _handleCopy on user devices, throwing "wrapper.appendChild is not a function". We haven't been able to reproduce the error ourselves, but the call stack appears to be:

Is it possible to investigate what could cause these issues?

In the past 7 days we've had 53 occurrences of this error reported, it seems to happen exclusively in Chrome browsers but across OS'es (Windows, MacOS and Chrome OS).
