Hulu Subtitles? #112

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. XBMC with EDEN 11 Beta-2
2. Loaded Anime Episode from Hulu Plugin.
3. Enable Subtitles from video and nothing happens, still in Japanese.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Because on Hulu.com, when you play an animated video it is in Japanese, it will
not show the English subtitles.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Apple Tv 4.4.4
XBMC Eden 11 Beta-2
Latest version of bluecop

Please provide any additional information below.
This might not even be an option. I was not finding a whole lot of information
about this problem out there. I tried going into the Hulu plugin configuration,
but when playing anime in Japanese, the subtitles still do not show.

Let me know if you find anything, thanks again!

For people wondering, to get Subtitles/Captions working:
-Open Hulu Addon Settings
-Go to "Streaming" and enable "Captions"
-Go to "Ads" and disable Pre-Roll Ads(Ads that play before Show starts

Subtitles/Captions should now Display in your Show.

Subtitles still do not work for me even after I have taken these steps. Are
there any other recommendations that can be made?
