Hi Ron,
1) I'm thinking on it. I don't like it and I want change. 2) I don't know, subtask are dependent of the main task. If you filter by context only parent task need appear.
I don't have this points clear. If you apply filter, how show subtask if parent task not match?
I know ... it's kind of a problem BUT since context can be a very powerful tool, we should give it thought and discussion.
Your point #2 .... not necessarily do the main and sub have to have the same contexts. It could be that the main task is to develop some software and one of the subs for "that" software project could be to create documentation. There may be several software projects but not all might have a sub for documentation. It would be nice to filter just by documentation. In which case ... we need to see the main as well as the sub for the filtered context.
My initial thoughts: 1) If there is the ability to assign a sub task a context then it should be visible. 2) It should be available to a sort. 3) Probably the main task should appear as well with the sub underneath it regardless of what the main task has as a context. 4) Other subs with different context would not appear.
Maybe someone else has some thoughts ???
Currently, sub tasks can have a context different than the main task assigned.
1) Should the sub task context be visible ?? 2) Should the context filtering that works on tasks also apply to the sub tasks as well ??
